Many government enterprises are implementing data center consolidation
and building next-generation computing facilities. As agency
requirements evolve, the technologies and design strategies to support them
also have made a quantum shift forward.
Today’s “always-on” government enterprises rely on
complex networks and data centers. Future operating
environments must be highly flexible and adaptable, enabling public
sector organizations to add capacity, increase network connectivity, and
support new applications with minimal advanced planning. The IT
professionals managing these data centers must provide secure
information sharing within and among authorized users, who will tolerate
virtually no downtime.
An additional challenge facing data center architects
and managers is reducing overall energy consumption. As data centers
worldwide continue to demand energy at exponential rates, technologies
such as virtualization and automation can help government IT
professionals reduce costs and make significant reductions to their
energy consumption. .
Mark your calendar today and plan to join your
colleagues in June for a lively discussion of the enabling technologies
that will help meet your agency business and mission requirements.
Seminar faculty will include government and industry experts focused on
major trends that impact data center operations, including:
- Virtualization
- Cloud computing
- Green computing and energy-saving opportunities
Space is limited.
Register today for Simplifying and Greening the Data
Center.
We look forward to seeing you in June.
